When it remembered wrong
Say what is wrong; the assistant picks the repair. Two cases matter, because they are fixed differently.
Changed, or never true
Changed. Say so:
— He does not run logistics any more, he has been deputy director since March.
The old fact is closed at March and stays in the history. A question about today gives the new role, a question about last year the old one.
Never true in the first place.
— He never worked there, I mixed him up with a namesake. Delete it.
That one is deleted: it describes no period at all.
The test is the question "was it true last year?". Yes — close it by a date. No — delete it.
The rest
— It ended and nothing replaces it: we stopped working with them on 1 March, they left the market.
The fact is closed with a date and a reason, and the reason is printed in later answers.
— The wording is clumsy, same meaning: make it "supplies endoscopy equipment".
Only the text changes. The dates, the source and the earned usefulness stay, and the previous wording is kept beside it.
— Wrong date: he has been there since 2019, not 2021.
— That is about the other company, move the fact onto Olympus Moscow. — That fact is in the wrong area, move it to work/antarius.
Events
An event's text is not edited — it is your own account and lives by appending only. What is available:
— Move that note to another area. — There is nothing to break into facts here, it is just a note. — Attach this file to the note.
Deleting an event takes the facts drawn from it with it. So it is for exactly what should never have existed: a test note, the wrong area, a pasted password.
Duplicate entities
— "Olympus Moscow" and "OOO Olympus Moscow" are the same, merge them.
The facts, the name and the spellings move onto one row. If the second had a description, the assistant shows you its text: descriptions are not glued together, and you decide what to carry over.
To stop the duplicate coming back, add the spelling:
— Note that "Olympus Moskva" is the same thing.
Todos
A todo is closed rather than deleted — including when you decided against it:
— Close that one as dropped, we decided against a second supplier.
Six months later, "did we ever consider a second supplier?" has an answer. Delete only what should never have been there.
