Connecting
You need your mnemos server address and an account with access. Ask your administrator for these.
The address looks like this:
https://mnemos.example.com/mcp
This is an example. Replace it with your server's address.
1. Add mnemos to your app
Claude
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Choose + → Add custom connector and paste the server address.
- Add the connector, choose Connect and sign in to mnemos.
- In your conversation, enable mnemos under + → Connectors.
For a team account, the organisation owner adds the connector first. Claude instructions.
ChatGPT
Connection is available on the web with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans.
- Enable Developer mode in Settings → Security and login.
- Open Plugins and choose + to add an app with your mnemos server address.
- Select OAuth authentication and sign in.
- In your conversation, select + → Developer mode → mnemos.
Grok
Open Grok connectors, choose New Connector → Custom, paste the server address and sign in.
Claude Code
Run this in your terminal, using your server's address:
claude mcp add --transport http mnemos https://mnemos.example.com/mcp
In Claude Code, open /mcp, select mnemos and sign in.
Claude Code instructions.
Another app
In MCP settings, add a remote server named mnemos with your server's address.
If asked for a transport, choose Streamable HTTP.
The app needs OAuth support to sign in.
2. Check the connection
Ask your assistant:
Save a test note in mnemos: “Memory connection checked”. Then find it and show me the result.
If the note is found, you can start saving information. You can delete the test note after checking.
If it does not connect
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The assistant cannot see mnemos | Check that the connector is enabled in this conversation. |
| Sign-in does not open | Check the server address and try connecting again. |
| Licence error after sign-in | Contact the administrator who gave you access. |
| No option to add a connector | Check your plan's features and your organisation permissions. |
